The differential pressure bypass valve serves to maintain constant pump pressure in closed heating systems according to EN 12828 and simultaneously reduces disruptive flow noise. It ensures that the delivery head of the circulation pump remains stable even with changing valve positions and partial load.
The corner version is particularly suitable for confined installation situations, for example in space-constrained heating circuit manifolds or in retrofit applications.
The valve features a robust brass housing and a clearly legible adjustment scale. The differential pressure is set at the valve when the heating system is operating at full load; if the flow rate decreases, the bypass valve opens automatically to maintain a constant pump head.
Available in straight or space-saving corner versions; connections: inlet G¾ internal thread, outlet with flat-sealing screw connection and G¾ union nut. Adjustable pressure is continuously variable between 0.1 and 0.5 bar.
Operating temperature range: max. 95 °C (briefly up to 120 °C). Operating pressure: max. 6 bar. Differential pressure continuously adjustable: 0.1/0.5 bar. Housing material: brass. Connections: Inlet G¾ internal thread, outlet flat sealing screw connection with G¾ union nut.
Constant pump performance and reduced flow noise result in greater comfort and a longer service life for pumps and components. The stepless adjustment scale allows for precise adaptation to system requirements.
The corner design saves space and makes installation easier in tight spaces without compromising on function or accessibility.
Mount the valve near the circulation pump or at the designated bypass so that the adjustment scale remains easily accessible. Ensure correct sealing and tightening torques during installation; the flat-sealing screw connection guarantees a reliable, leak-free connection.
Before commissioning, vent the system and check for leaks. Do not exceed operating pressure and temperature limits; if unsure, refer to the manufacturer's instructions and installation guides.
Regular visual inspection and occasional adjustment of the setting scale are usually sufficient. Before maintenance work, depressurize the system and allow it to cool down. Dirt or deposits can impair its function; clean or replace them as necessary.
Ideal for central heating systems in residential and commercial buildings, especially where pump pressure needs to be stabilized and flow noise minimized. The compact corner design is also suitable for modernizations in confined installation spaces.
