Caleffi frost protection valve for heat pumps 1" and 1 1/4'' with outside air duct
The frost protection valve prevents the medium in the system circuit from freezing and thus prevents damage to the heat pump and pipes.
The valve is a mechanically operating protective system.
The version with an outdoor air sensor allows the system to operate in cooling mode even when the water temperature approaches 3°C.

- Ambient temperature range: -30-60°C
- Opening temperature of the medium: 3°C
- Closing temperature of the medium: 4°C
- Frost protection function is activated when the outside air temperature is ≤ 5°C.
