Flue pipe for pellet stoves (Ø 80 mm) They are generally used to remove toxic flue gases from living spaces. They are connected directly to the fireplace and direct the gases outside via the chimney. It is important to note that different fuels produce different flue gas temperatures, which results in different demands on the stovepipes.
Burning pellets produces lower flue gas temperatures than burning wood. This can easily lead to condensation during the flue gas discharge, which can severely contaminate conventional pipes and lead to sooting. Pellet pipes are therefore enameled or made of rust-proof materials such as stainless steel. They are also frost- and thaw-resistant.
